Question about SAE rolls

How can you tell if a roll is unopened? Is there any sort of tape over the top or anything?
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."

    You can't.

    I've seen a sellers ad saying "You can tell these have never been opened by the unique popping sound when they are first opened." Well, OK if you say so.
