Would it be ethical to ...borrow...a picture?

If one copied the pic, sprayed out the number on the slab, blanked the date and generally made it almost impossible to find on the web, would it be ethical to use it as a comparison to something you are selling that appears far better?

<< <i>I think it is always WRONG to use a photo of something else for something that you are selling. While your intentions might be good and fair, and you might correctly describe what youve done, a bidder or buyer might misconstrue and cause you trouble later. cheers, alan mendelson >>
I agree with that, I would not consent to having one of my photos used for another coin "like" the one I have photographed.

<< <i>Aethelred: I must agree... you do take better pics than 99% of EBay... only other good picture taker I can think of the real actively sells on EBay, is Russ... but cosmicdebris and Frank and Jeremy are all probally int hat 1% of awesome picture takers... >>
I am not even in the same class as Russ, Cosmic, Airplanenut, Cacheman or Darkhorse. They are all in the top 1% of the top 1%. Real numismatic artists in my opinion!
