    Andean Condor- Vultur Gruphus, as a matter of fact. This reverse is one of my favorite birds-unlike a lot of raptors we see on coins, this one has a personality that is not necessarily blandly noble.

    I was going to say vulture or buzzard, but condor seemed close enough.

    These often come very nice and can even be found in gem. More incredible is that
    even the later debased issues are fairly available in unc and high grade. Typically
    the base metal coins are tough especially better than VF.
