A or B? #3

This one's tough - a scarce issue, 1875 small date 5 berries, both circulated. Color is actually quite similar for both in spite of what the photos seem to indicate.

  • B seems to have a few less hits about the face and it just looks more appealing to me.

B once again. As labmom pointed out, less marks to the face.

That one little pockmark on Vickie's face on the first coin makes "B" the clear choice, for me anyway. Both are nice, though.

  • To me A has the better detail and I was close to choosing it. But it does have that mark on the cheek - so I went with B.

B is better even though A has less wear.

Thanks folks. I agree with B. The hit to the cheek is a distraction, all other things being about equal.

  • B all the way
