These prices are absolutely ludicrous and any of you who are raping the general public for this type of gain should be beaten about the head and shoulders with a blunt instrument!!!

The mintage of the 2000 sets isn't that much larger then the other years. The problem is, dealers bought large number of 2000 silver sets on speculation and these quanties overhang the market. As these sets are distributed you should see a gradual increase in prices.

Seriously, I had a chance to buy hoards of sets years ago at 5% over face and passed it up, thinking it would never add up. They ranged from 55 to 93. Now I kick myself in the arse. Unlikely that kind of oportunity will ever come my way again, but if it does, I'll take a loan against my TSP to make it happen before I let another deal slip away.
Color me stupid.

I figure if someone is going to pay the kind of insane money I know this will go for, the least I can do is make sure they get the darned thing. I thought I'd try paying for the shipping myself to see how it would go.
