Grade opinions on my 1895 S Morgan and..
Trooper

Hi all, came in the mail the other day. It was a Ebay BIN with 2 other Morgans( a worn 1892 and a ms63 1885O. Total cost for all three delivered was $60. So I think I didn't do to bad.
Here's a pic of the coin. I was thinking of having it graded because it is a rarer Morgan, and even with the grading fees I don't think I'd lose any money if I wanted to sell. But there's a little hint of green at the bow on the reverse. For a coin in this condition would acetone change the look of the coin if I just q'tipped it on the bow? Or would you do a whole dip. Or just leave it and send it in.
I'm guessing F12 for a grade? Anyone else?
Will the nic on the obv rim keep it out of a holder?
thanks
Tom

I have had Morgan's BB'd for similar rim dings.
But, maybe because of the scarcity of this one, they will allow some slack...
I'd send it in, if it were mine.
The coin that PCgs had in round three of the grading challenge had considerable more detail and no wear into the rim. I thought it was a good-6, but they graded G-4.

looks like a G6 to me, however I'm not so sure it will make it in a slab......is there significant rim damage on the bottom of the reverse (hidden by the keyboard)? If the rims are damaged, pcgs will bag it.
Check out a Vanguard Roth IRA.
