Did I get bamboozeled? Oops! Never mind!

I recently purchased a 1999 1oz silver Libertad off of eBay and was under the impression that it was the same size as the newer Libs (thinner and wider) but this coin won't fit into a 40mm airtite like my newer Libs, there's room around the edge and it's too thick. So, my question is; Does anyone know the official dimensions of the 1999 Libertad? And what size airtite it should go in? Thanks!

Edit: I just realized I have been tryin gto get a 40mm coin (the above mentioned 1999 Libertad) into a 38mm airtite. no wonder it didn't fit. Sorry!

The first Onza issued in 1982 was 31.1 grams in weight, .999 in fineness and contained 1 ounce of silver. Beginning in 1996 the coin weighed 33.625 grams but the fineness was reduced to sterling (.925 silver). It still contains 1 ounce of silver.
