Question about Washington quarter

I have a NGC67 1940D quarter I want to crossover to PCGS so I can enter it in my registry set. Should I crack it out and risk not getting it back in 67, leave it in the holder and take my chances, or just leave it alone. Thanks, Don

Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.
The chances are very good it will come back as an MS66. And as mentioned, you won't chance giving it a "boo-boo" cracking it out.
Just print on the invoice "Cross at any grade" and I'm pretty certain you'll get it back in a PCGS holder as MS66..
I've done it both ways, with the same results. So, why take a chance..
JMHO...

That depends. Is it an MS67 by PCGS standards? If so, crack it out.

From what I've seen PCGS is more strict on grading Washington quarters. Would it be worth more in a PCGS 66 holder or in an NGC 67 holder.
