Lou has offered to sell me some cards that I need for one of my registry sets, but I have never dealt with him in the past. Has anyone here dealt with him? Let me know.

    no I never...

    if he cant scan I d be very careful, ask him for his phone number and talk to him in person..maybe there is someone here on the boards that lives close enough to him to help you out..i.e. pick up the cards, give him the money...

    I got an email from him offering to sell me some cards for one of my sets also. I remembered this thread when I read the email from him. Anybody know if this is legit?

    I received an email from him too. I responded with 'No thanks' and he responded back and seemed nice enough.....but I know nothing about him nor have ever dealt with him before.

    Since no one is familiar w/ him, see if he'll ship the cards out on approval. And that you'd pay him the agreed amount if the cards are to your satisfaction or that you will return them in tact. You can't get burned this way, nor will you burn him...jay

    After wolfbear's post, I sent an email to Lou and made a deal for 4 cards. He was real quick to respond and made a good deal with me. He asked me to provide some more info if anyone is interested:

    I also bought 5 cards from him...and showed him this thread...he wanted all of you to know that he can be checked up at eBay...his handle is 516mrlou58 and check out his 100% feedback with 280 people...he'll provide his phone number as well...I had no problems with him and he was very accomodating...
