Ken: Nice Morgan Pickups! I think from a condition perspective I like the 1889 & 1885 best (fewer contact marks). I like the oroginal tonign on them all. The colors will complement one another in your Dansco Album..

The 1900-P is a very tough coin to find in PL; when found they are usually dull and lifeless.. So if you find one (and you may if you are searching through raw coins) cherry-pick it out of the group

Nice Morgans. Dang, you must have a big pile of coins somewhere. Seems there's always "my saturday finds", " monday monday finds", "my midweek luchtime finds". I wish I had somewhere decent where I could have some "finds"

The die cracks on the '99-o are my favorite, but they're all nice.

Yes, the date is doubled on the 1900. And, the die cracks on the 99-O go the whole way around the coin! I didn't even notice them. Good eyes guys!

Btw, those have as much color as I like. I don't care for the darker all-over toning a lot of morgans have. I like a smattering of color, esp if it is around the rim of the coin.

According to AOL, there are 74 dealers in a 50 mile radius of my home. I've been to 5 of them. Looks like I've got a lot of work ahead of me! The kind of work I like.
I've got people at work starting to ask me serious questions about coins they or friends have. It's starting to look like my investment in time and research, as well as information gathered here, is going to start paying off! I love this hobby and the people in it!!!!....Ken...
