May 2004 SMR arrived today

Carmelo on the cover and a T-206 article inside. Not too many price changes in the vintage years.

  • Anything on 1962 Topps Baseball PSA 8s and PSA 9s? I submitted a bunch of changes and Joe said they would hit this month. It will probably be another week before I get my SMR.

I just called customer service yesterday asking for them to send my April issue (Reggie Jackson)...the girl said that the May issue just came out. I told her just to send me that one instead through regular mail.

One note: If you call Odyssey directly..they will not handle your issue if you get the SMR through the PSA Collector's Club...you have to contact PSA directly.

I can check the new prices online, wait a minute I guess that I can't. My one year subscription expired on March 16th although I renewed my membership in September 2003 for one year. As for the hard copy of the SMR I have received 3 in 7 months, the last of which I had to call for.

According to Joe O. the online edition of the SMR cannot be updated until the "paper" SMR is available in the retail outlets (Borders, Grocery Stores, etc.).

This problem is soooooooooooo old there is NO excuse for it!

Either way I am not getting either the hard copy or online copy, but paying for both. What are they going to do add the missed issues at the end of the subscription? That won't do anyone any good as I will have to re-up my membership in September anyway, therefore I will get 12 months again anyway, hoping that the 12 months isn't calculated in dog years like it is now.

I'm putting my "new" hobby money into diecast cars. They look cool and don't require the diaper changing that this whole process seems to need.

I called PSA customer service last week to tell them I had not received any SMRs since December. They transferred me to Odyssey and I talked to a guy there. He said that he would send me the Reggie Jackson one ASAP (I rec'd it earlier this week) and I would start getting my issues regularly. He didn't say what the reason was for why I wasn't getting them in the first place.
