Received my first 2004-D Nickel

Just happened to notice it in my pocket mid day yesterday. It must have come from Wal-mart or when I had lunch. This one had trickled it's way into Decatur Texas.
I never met a coin that wouldn't fit in my collection.....

Hey, good for you. My YN son is looking long and hard but still no sign of them here in Omaha, Nebraska that is.

  • Cool find. I have yet to see any of the new nickels here in north Florida.

I ended up getting three 2004 pennies this last weekend while I was up in South Carolina and I received a 2004 dime in change here in Florida this week.

So far, I have only seen those four coins with 2004 on them.

  • I haven't gotten any myself... but my dad works at a bank, and they just got the new nickels last week, so he got one fresh out of a bag... he's supposed to be getting me a couple rolls... image

My son got one in change from the Mint (at the Portland ANA). I may pick up the two rolls tomorrow. (no shipping, unless you count the 800 mile drive)
