finding forum member messages

How do you find all, or a lot of messages left by individual posters??? Sometimes I want to go back to see what someone was talking about, and don't know how to get there. Thanks, Steve

About the only way is to do a search and specify the author. Although the search engine here is not very good.

Click on the SEARCH button towards the top right of the screen, then enter the member name under AUTHOR and make sure to click on SELECT ALL under FORUM CATEGORIES.

Click on the Advanced link next to the Search box. There you will have an opportunity to search by Author. Make sure you note which forum you want to search in the check boxes in the lower section of the seach page.

Thanks for this thread - I never noticed that search button, and always thought that the search on the left of the screen didn't work sometimes.

Advanced Search is down again. Getting an error 109 when I specifiy the search the Body of messages.

Sometime you just get these. Try to shorten the time frame to say 1 year or less. Try 2 or more search words.
