Wow - too funny!! check this listing out

OK it's for a BGS graded product but this part cracked me up....remember...he claims to be selling because of a medical emergency.

Sounds to me like the medical emergency he's facing is at the hands of the bookies who were probably set to break his legs..... lol

Why do I sell to Canada only? Because the US & Vegas control the outcome of the game. ie Raptors beat New Orleans Hornets on Sunday paying 3 to 1 if you are a bettor then they are 8.5 point underdog 2 nights later at Memphis after having a great performance. Everyone buys the Raptors of course (You'd be scared to take Memphis). Guess what I don't even have to watch the game to know that they won't pay 4 to1 straight up and Raptors are losers and get blown out by 9 and more. You know what Jalen Rose gets ejected foul calls galore on Raptors. Vince and company shoot under 30% stink up etc..Memphis hacks fouls, goal tends and nothing is called.Nice going refs you did your job. Rember I am posting this as of the 3rd quarter of this game.

  • He will sell to Canada only, but the auction is in USD?......
Yes, my ebay id is cardboardjungle.

  • Smart cookie accepting only USD. The exchange rate is very much in his favor by requesting USD. Does he really expect Canadians to rush out and trade there Canadian money in to purchase his item? Not.

    Wow! What an idiot!! image
  • Yea I saw that ad...I was watching that game as well....now I know why the Grizzlies are so good at home...the refs really give them alot of the calls. Needless to say the Grizz are a very good team and can compete against anyone but those refs were really missing calls.

As for the Carter....man I use to sell those for $3K US (US dollar was way higher back then) and made big bucks...more than Ranch could ever dream of from selling cards. Too bad he didn't pan out....will see what Lebron can do in the next few years.....

You considering bidding ranchy? I remember you wanted one of them.....image

  • Wow, anti American statements from a Canadian!!!????. Who would have thunked it? I think I should stop drinking Labatt's since the Canadians are trying to control the beer market. This guy is a frappin moron and needs to have his a#$ removed. Take off hoser!
Looking for 1971 Topps Football PSA 8 NQ or above, and slowly working my way into the 1962 Topps Football Set. Check out my 1972 Topps Football Set 100% Complete.
  • Hey now....don't take it out on Labatt's....they give little stanley cups in the cases of beer. You can go for Molson...they are good too.

It's true that it's probably the first time I've seen a seller have NO American bidders but there are tons of American's who don't want to ship to Canada or think we wear beaver fur or say EH after everything.

Personally I would consider the possibility (probability?) of having my thumbs broken a "medical emergency" ... but that's just me.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Alex, my friend, have you ever asked yourself this..."How much does Ranch spend on cards?" Well, bro, let me tell you something, I have been collecting since I was 5 years-old and to this day the highest amount I have ever spent on a single card was no more than $300(CAN). So you get where I am coming from? I can't sell a $300 card for $3,000, right? You on the other hand spent thousands and thousands of dollars on Carter rookies...and exactly how much profit did you make in the end? "Enough profit," is probably what you would say, but I don't believe you. I remember seeing all those Carter rookies you showed me that day, and you won like a thousand of them on ebay, are you telling me that you sold them all? A Carter lover like you? Selling them all? I doubt it. So you bought a BGS 9.5 GEM MINT Carter SP Authentic RC for $4,000 and sold it for $3,000 even before it hit $500? I don't call that making a profit. Really, it's OK Alex, I know you must still own quite a few of his rookies and I know you lost thousands of dollars gambling on him, but you don't need to feel bad about it...we all make mistakes...that's what life is all about. image

Remobolan, I have two words for you:

    ANGER MANAGEMENT!

    Hey, how did you know?image

Funny Ranch.....I was buying Sp Carter's the second the product was released because I knew it was going to be the best product (first time rookies were numbered /3500 and the quality was amazing). I was buying them at $150-250US Raw and by the time I sold all of them the raw cards were hitting $900US while I set the record for highest price on a BGS 9.5 which was alittle over $3500US. So paying $200 for a card and selling it for $3500.....isn't that profit Mr. Ranch? I think it is....and I didn't just sell one...I sold alot of them!!!!

You probably couldn't pay $200 for a card back then and probably still have problems doing it because your daddy or mommy will yell at you.
