    I believe people are bidding on that thinking they are getting an unplated zinc cent, and they will be in for a rude awakening when they get the item shown in grayscale format in the auction. I believe it will be an ordinary cent, and someone is going to be pretty angry.

    True enough - I have the feeling the sellers favorite charity will turn out to me himself.
    In any case,its easy enough to donate to a charity without going through a charade like this.
    Guess it takes all kinds ....
