Is anyone here in the NLG?

Numismatists Literary Guild...

If so, what are the requirements and how do people get involved in it?

Does the NLG need an official grading service?

How much are they asking for?

umm...that was a serious question. I'm not involved in the PNG discussion stuff, nor did it trigger this thread.

  • Sorry Chuck. I know a few members in the NLG, but I don't know the specifics of the organization. What little that I do know is that you would be a welcome addition to the membership. The guys that I know in the NLG are TRUE numismatists.

    Thanks Jade,

That's the best compliment I've been paid in quite a while.

The only NLG member I know of and have spoken to is John Wexler. Perhaps I should ask him.

    Hello-

I am a relatively new member of the NLG. You can find out more about the organization and membership on their website. Essentially, members are those folks who are authors of numismatic literature, whether articles, books, features, etc. Click "Membership" in the left pane and you can download the application.

comments retracted. basically, i wanted to say that NLG truly is an organization that "helps collectors".

thanks, coppercoins, for introducing a USEFUL term to newbies who potentially might read this forum & stumble across this thread.

    FANTASTIC THREAD!
