Anyone else want to come along and hijack this forum and talk about coins and let the " us - vs - them" talk go for another time?image Here`s a test scan of a toned Peace dollar I got this week. I`m still not satisfied with how it came out but, I`ll give it a hack at getting a better scan when I have more time.

    ccr, I bet that is a nice coin. Truth is that you can't capture a toned coin's beauty on a scanner. You need to master a digital camera. Thanks for a refreshing thread though....

    Thanks JadeRareCoin. It`s a red/blue tone that covers both sides. The toning to some degree has muted the luster but, still I like it. I bought it as a MS64.
