Does anyone have any information about this Ebay offering (PCGS PR68 Cameo 1898 Barber half)?

The coin looks familiar to me and I am skeptical about whether the seller can deliver the goods to the winning bidder. Does anyone recognize it and/or know when/if it sold elsewhere recently?

But I sure would be leary of somebody with a feedback record like his, not to mention most of his previous sales are for non coin related items that sell for only a few bucks!

If he says no then its obvious he's a fake.
He's also been ebayin 230 times in 6 years..
I'd still never make a deal that large except in person.

All current bidders that I know have been warned via PM's Jim.
You can always go to Joyzee and muscle your $$ out of him.
He ended the auction because of an error in the listing.
I guess he realized he didn't own the coin after all.

Why get envolved you ask...... The question doesn't really deserve an answer, but would you let a friend get ripped for several grand if you thought that was about to take place? If so then I wouldn't call you my friend.

The sale has been cancelled for your information, and I would give 10 to 1 odds that it was because he was either found out, are that he read the remark about Tony Soprano!
