What are the chances?

All my submissions are vintage cards, but since reading these boards, I pulled out my '93 Jeter rookie and I've been louping it now for two weeks - I don't see any flaw in it all, but the centering is 44/56 left to right. Can this card 10? What tools do you all (and PSA) use to measure centering? I used the 1/32 inch increments on a Helix scale.

  • I assume you are referring to his 93 SP RC. Check for a light crease or cracks on the foil background. Look at the corners closely and make sure they are RAZOR sharp (no threads). Check the back of the card for chipping that won't be evident from the front. Finally light a candle and say a prayer. If it comes back a 9, be thankful.

sorry - should have been more specific - it's a regular issue #98 Topps - thanks for your response, Frank.
