Polish 10 zlotych

Can anyone give me an asking price for a 1932 Polish 10 zlotych in Unc. condition?
The seller wants an offer, I have no idea and don't wish to insult him. Would really like to get this coin though.

I don't know enough about Polish coins to judge how accurate Krause is, but for what it's worth, in the 30th Ed. the 1932 10 Zlotych is listed at $32.50 Unc from either the Warsaw (mintage 3.1-million) or London (mintage 6-million) mints, and no value is stated for the Warsaw proof (mintage 100!).

Krause probably isn't too far off on this one. The coin is common in lower grades
and isn't too hard in grades up to AU, but uncs tend to be a little less available.
I'd expect to pay $20 to $30 so $32.50 might be understating the value a little.

Krause is a rough guide. I'd suggest making a generous offer as, as I've told you, these are harder to find in nice UNC grades.

Once I heard a piece of advice regarding Krause. It said something like "Look to pay no more than 50% of Krause in grades F-XF, but do not be afraid to pay above Krause if the coin is Unc and nice."

Boz, good luck with acquiring the coin. I hope he accepts at double Krause. Good quality, uncleaned, uncirculated coins of that era are quite scarce, even rare. I believe a 1936 10 zlotych coin, graded NGC MS-62, sold for $91 a month or so ago on ebay. 1932s are a bit less common, in my opinion, so I'd say the 1932's value should be over $100, and much more for a gem bu.

Well the darndest thing happened. I sent 2 offers, cause I thought the first was a liitle low after reading the advice here. He accepted the lowest!!! That doesn't happen very often, well actually its never happened to me. Should have the coin in a few days and will post a pic.

I'd like to see the pic when you get it boz. The Second Republic stuff is hard to find in high grades.
