From what little I can see it looks like a 1952D. That was the only year of the "stumpy" 5, and one of few years on which die breaks were somewhat common around the date. I have one at home that has a die break very close to that and it's from 1952.
It's definitely a 1952, and I don't see the 2. What I do see is a stumpy 5 in the date, and that's the only year that had it. All the other years in the 1950s used a different 5.
Also, as I said before, 1952 is a very common date to have die breaks in the date and mintmark area. 1954 is the second most common, but it had the normal 5.
