texas token?medal?theme park?

found this in one of my local coin dealers junk piles.liked it and bought it cheap.anybody know what it is or history on it?Still in plastic when I scanned it.sharp looking out of plastic.Bronze or brass?I lean toward bronze.

    It is probably Amarillo, Texas. It looks like municipal trade currency from about the
    late 1970's. Cote does list one from Amarillo with this verbiage. It was struck in al-
    uminum and in brass. He values it at $3 but these valuations are more valuable for
    comparisons of the number surviving than their actual value.
