THE NEW PCGS GRADING BOOK

I picked up a copy of the new 2nd edition of the official PCGS Guide to Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection today. I already have the 1st edition from 1997. Here are my observations:
1. Most of the text is a repeat of the original, however, it is interspurced with new text and subject matter. (ie) the Set Registry. 2. The original book was on better paper and the many pictures, both in color and black & white in the 1st edition are superior and larger than this paperback edition. Of course, the price of the first book was about $30 and this new book costs only $20.
3. I am happy with having both books even though much of it is the same. I haven't had the chance to check everything out, but if you don't have the 1st edition, this book is a must read IMHO. Steve
