Game Used Jersey Card Confusion; Home/Road?

While I don't know how to post a link (maybe another member can help), take a look at eBay auction 2796553965, its a Donruss 1/1 Cal Ripken Jr. Game Used Jersey card. On the card's back, they show a picture of the "actual" jersey that this swatch came from, but while the pictured jersey shown is a home (white) version, the swatch on the front is grey in color (road version). You'd think the QC would be a bit better (particularly for a 1/1 version). I'm wondering if the grey swatch is actually from a Ripken jersey at all? This is why I'm wary of any "game used" cards in general. I'm interested in members thought as well. Thanks!

I noticed this same thing on a 2002 leaf Johnny Damon game used hat card I had...the back of the card showed a hat that was autographed in silver with the word "gamer" added to the sig and it was obvious the sig was Tim Hudson's
