ANACS

Is ANACS a good grading service? I printed out the submission form and my total is $33. I'm getting the 5 day express, slabbed (Authentication and grading I think), shipping 12$ for my gold soverign worth around 115$.

Do I just send my coin in the plastic flip along with the form and the check for 33$?

I've never submitted to them, but I've cherrpicked quite a few coins from their slabs. They tend to be conservative on 1960's era proofs and SMS coins. So, my answer would be yes, they're a good grading service.

  • I use ANACS for all my Morgan Dollars. I believe they do a good job
evaluating the coin and they also provide VAM information, etc. I like
