What? You had a raw 1908-S Indian and put goo gone on it and the "S" fell off? I would be unhappy. Can you find the seller?

I am pretty sure that is how the grading services authenticate coin submissions too.

I tried to glue it back on but it came off when I blew on it to make it dry, I think Goo Gone has oil in it----------------------------BigE

I would call the mint and complain, they should use better glue when they attach mint marks to their coins.

Yes Goo Gone has oil in it (Petroleum distillates). Rinse the coin with acetone first to remove the oil, then glue.

Put the S back in the wrong place to really screw with people. A rare misplaced MM.
