Invoice 9018321..very glad the comet slabbed... well worn copper is tough to find in slabable shape!

    The Comet looks like it was strong, but it is a well worn coin. Despite the wear it was obvious. Since it is not a high value coin I was suprised to see how few are graded at all.

    A picture can bee seen in the Red Book with the other 1807 large cents. The "Comet" is from a large die crack that runs from the back of the head to the rim.

    Not me, but I have sold many coins to folks who are! This one is a keeper though.
