At least you're honest about it!! And consistent...

<< <i>Lempiras aren't ugly ... I collect them! >>
Is that the "Bulldog" coin I've heard about?

"Bullhead," but dog fits as well!
When I said "but ugly" above I could have also said "butt ugly."

Hang on a sec... gettin' Krause off the shelf...
Frankfurt, 1 kreuzer. Struck in billon. Looks like KM253, but only the 1773-BN is listed... no 1777, from what I can see!
There are other 1-kreuzer pieces of various types listed under Frankfurt, with pretty modest Krause values ($4.00-7.50 US) but I see nothing for 1777. A VERY interesting find! Love that little cityscape!
Since it's far from ugly, I will have to rate that entry as off-topic to this thread.
Can anybody else find that in Krause- another edition, perhaps? I use the Second.
Edit: hmm. Could that last digit in the date actually BE a 3, that was repunched? Looks like a 7 to me in the picture, but I suppose it could be a 3 over a 1, or maybe even just a funny-lookin' 3. In which case it is KM253.
There are two varieties of the 1773-BN, which, as I mentioned, is the only date listed for the KM253. There's one with no periods: "B N", and with periods: "B. N." Both have the same Krause values in my 2nd edition: $4 VG / $12.00 F / $25 VF / $45 XF. The coin looks VG to Fine to my eyes.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
I think it is a 3.. the coin looks like it got stepped on a few times--those two digs on right are bigger than that but cropped off in the pic.. so I think that might just be an extra funky 3, I thought the bottom part of the # was just more damage.
Well, a cool find anyhow! Now it's neat in another way because my Nuremburg 1kr is also from 1773. I wonder if any other 1kr's were made around Germany that year.. this could be the start of a collection!

Okay, and my new Churchill crown (Yemen this time), not so bad as the original, but all I had handy:
