Our very own Greentoe deserves to be publicly flogged---aahhhhhh--congratulated for his consistently outstanding service and friendliness and goodwill and every synonym that goes along with that general mood. I just got a bulk lot from him and I'm beside myself with joy for not only the very neat contents of the 10 lb. lot, but also and especially for the professional manner that Ajaan employed from start to finish in the tedious process of getting me that package. It would be one thing if it were his job, or business, but as we all know, Ajaan is fully employed in the teaching profession, which is demanding and draining both physically and mentally. So that's all the more reason to praise his bending over backwards to ensure I got more than I asked for. In addition to the bulk lot, I received an extra pound of coins for free, as well as a wonderful Canadian proof set.

I can't put into words how much I appreciate the Shroom's presence here on the Darkside.

meLord, I also received 2 holey coins in the lot, and they're yours if you want. One is a 1d cartwheel so worn that you can barely tell what it is (save for the tell-tale mass!!:Funny. I'm torn between giving it to you or Braddick!!! Another coin is some South American modernish coin; I doubt you want coins that early.

And I already had a slick, lower-grade one, too, but that ended up on Dan's hat.

jester, I am very glad, and relieved, the lot arrived safely. It has been quite a journey hasn't it? Hope you find everything satisfactory. What Canadian Proof Set did I include? Was it one of the Double Cent ones? I'm getting forgetful in my old age.

Ajaan, the proof set is indeed one with 2 pennies. Dated 1971.

Ajaan is a great guy, he may have green toes, not wear socks and yell at small children, but we can overlook that along with his "I am a woman with green hair trapped in a man's body" mantra and see the great guy (when the moon is not full) inside.
