I attended the semi-annual Bay State show in Boston this past weekend. I went on Saturday only for three hours. I was in search of PCGS 66 and 67 RED wheats...mostly in the '40's and '50's. I have them all from 1928 to present and I was hoping to fill some holes or to upgrade some that I already have.
I must report that I don't think that I saw any.....ANY PCGS wheats in 66 or 67 from the years 1940-1958.
One gentleman had a handful of '56 DD I think. A few dealers had a couple of those particular dates in ANACS holders. But I could not find anything in that class of coin at the show.
Obviously, I'm alone here in Massachussetts. But am I ahead of the curve or behind the times?
