BREAKING NEWS: Announcement from Director of Forumland Security

Dear fellow Forum users and collectors:

It is with the utmost caution that we consider rasing the Forum Alert Level. We understand that doing this causes concern and expense on your part. However, there are times when strong action is called for and I am sad to report that my office considers this to be one of those times. We have detected an unusual amount of "chatter" from at least two and perhaps as many as four known or suspected members of Al Trolluh and as such believe the current situation to be very grave. As such we feel that the only appropriate course of action at this time would be to raise the "Troll Alert Status" to it's highest level.



We urge members to take actions to secure their monitors with duct tape, maintain a one week supply of cold beer and to wear waterproof boots while posting.

We also believe that a quick review of the National Troll Alert System might be in order as there are new members who might not be aware of it.

This is the highest warning. When you see this alert expect troll attacks.

This alert means that there is strong reason to expect some troll activity.

When you see this warning you should be on the lookout for trolls and report any troll sightings to the Department for Forumland Security.

This alert level indicates that while things are quiet, we should remain on the lookout.

When you see this symbol, you can assume that the forums are safe.

It was a typical day on the forum-
perhaps a little slow.
The threads that were appearing
kept the threat level setting on low.

And then a post came in
with a question on Darkside gold;
The question was then repeated
and again repeated until it got old.

The threat level was promptly raised
from low to guarded condition;
but the questions didn't stop
about the gold coins possible submission.

So up it went again,
reaching an elevated state,
and then went from high to severe,
as we recognized a troll's verbal bait.

Once again the question was raised
and the Troll alert flag proudly flew.
The forum alert plan was praised
as the troll was finally bid an adieu.
