How does small tape stains on back effect grade??

If the front of card is NM/MT with NM corners that would grade say 7/8 but there are one or two small tape stains on back how would that effect the grade??

Thanks

u talking about the stains on 52 bowman? caused by the wax? or can u actully see where tape had been applied? if it is wax it depends on the severity, if it is truly tape then the card will prolly have a qualifier MK?
    Good for you.

I have a card like that. a '62 Norm Cash All Star. From the front it looks like a 7 or 8.
On the back is a 3/4" square tape residue stain.

    Came out PSA 2 GOOD.

    There's my $5.00 answer.

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards
  • I am talking of actual tape applied to affix card to an album as was done in the 50's and when the card was removed from the album two small stains remained.
