  • This is a strange one- quite scuffy in front of the king's nose, but clean everywhere else. Are the scuffs on the coin or the holder?

    I love the large Canadian pennies and I've spent time studying them to try and figure out why, but I'm still not sure. They're not dramatically different from a lot of other coins... but I really like the design, especially Victoria, and whether they tone colorfully like this one (gorgeous coin Goldbutton) or darkly, they are nice!

    By the by, why not RB instead of BN?

    It has been my experience that a coin must be 30% red to get RB. The coin in question is about 20% red. Has to be 98% red to get RD unless it's ICCS than 90% will do.
