This nickel is in my raw collection of Jeffersons which I purchased a few weeks ago. A lot of the coins have full steps, so whoever started it had an eye for detail. Included in the bunch is this coin, which is kinda nice, and the steps are juuuuuust about there. There is a weakness on the bottom two steps under the second pillar, other than that, it's about as full a step 54S as I've seen thus far.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
it's a bit hard to tell with the light cranked up, but the coin was either struck with extremely worn dies or it's not Mint State, in which case the FS designation wouldn't be awarded if they were in fact full. that's where a lot of collectors run into trouble with Jeffersons, they mistake AU's for Mint State coins.

To the right of Monticello
I think the coin is definitely uncirculated. It's got a semi-prooflike fields, which makes it somewhat difficult to take a picture of up close. A shot a little further back shows more detail, and you can even see some of the die polish marks on the upper left of the reverse. Some of the coins have toned awesome colors in this set, so I thought I'd include a few of them
Nice colors on some of those nickels!
Jeremy,
I love the color on that nickel, but I think what you got there in front of Monticello is a Fast Slide

Just goes to show that if my coins were lifesize, we'd all have more fun
