How common is shelf doubling on Morgans?

I was grading some of my loose Morgans today and noticed on my 1879 has what appears to be shelf doubling across the top of "UNITED" and again below the left wing tip.

How common is this doubling or is this a recognized Vam?

    "shelf doubling" "strike doubling" "mechanical doubling" are not die/design variations, so they don't get VAM numbers.
