OK. Last question. How many scratches are too many?

For instance, this nicely worn 1914D cent. There is a small scratch on the face (vertical), kinda hard to see in real life. there are a couple of very fine lines in the same area at different angles that I can only see with a loupe and strong light (they are just on the surface). Will this BB? the gunk on his coat isn't on the coin. the rev looks good.

Stalks are almost complete. I think it will go VG technically, I just got to looking closely at all the coins I was going to submit. Dang, it's kinda embarassing how many of the coins I bought raw are cleaned or scratched in some way. I am paring down my submission to 7 or 8 coins, that I think will grade.

    Just buff out those scratches.

Actually, i think the coin is in good shape and would not be BB'd.

I'm sure some others will chime in with thier expeirences.
