Thanks for the "guaranteed" turn around service on submissions PSA - NOT!!!!!!

I had sent some cards in on one of BeachBum's submissions. I don't care how busy they are, if we pay for the 10 day service, we should get At least the grades, in 10 days. I know Beckett isn't great, but at least they deliver their trimmed cards when they say they will.

Edited to say that this was no fault of PSA. There was an error when my buddy made the payment which slowed down the grades. I removed any bad remarks about PSA in this event.
7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

  • first, do we really believe that roach submitted these cards? sounds to me like he is trolling for a good thread. maybe give us the invoice number so we can see for ourselves. second, do we really think that if he did submit that he did it correctly? I bet that if the order exists that roach either screwed up the invoice, the card, sent in something really odd that had to be researched or did not note the service level on the box so it is sitting with all the other 45 day stuff. third, do we believe that roach knows that the 10 day gaurantee is business days and not regular weekdays? he just sounds like a big fat whiner to me.

As I've stated before, I don't mind when PSA goes over the mark on turnaround time because it equals free submissions!

Hey SpongeBob, are you for real? For some one that joined these boards nearly 2 years ago and has only 16 posts, you have a big mouth. What's this "We" stuff that you keep referring to? Who is on your team? I have never seen you before on these boards and when you do make an appearance, you target me and a thread concerning PSA's turnaraound time. That is way too fishy.

That leads me to believe that you are either a PSA bigwig, or a member from the Open Forum who is coming over here to start trouble under an alt account. Either way I don't care. I could just tell by your response and the way it was typed in lower case letters with misspelling, that you are not too bright. In fact, I "GAURANTEE" it. You're probably trailer trash, right?

I did submit these cards under another members account ( BeachBum ) and he emailed me a bit ago to let me know that he was the one that caused the delay. I will say it here now that it wasn't PSA's fault. I am good about these things. However, I will say that they are often late. This particular time, it was my buddies fault. I mailed him the cards to submit with one of his orders. I never touched the packaging, invoice, etc..

If you think the person who submitted them screwed up the paperwork, take it up with BeachBum. I'd love to see him tear you a new poopchute. Stay off these boards if your only reason to be on them is to try and instigate trouble.

    Good for you.
  • Will they give free submissions?

PSA damage my cards. I sent damage card back and wastold they would trace the grading history to find out who'd done it. Was lying in their bins for a month 'til I called and asked what's up. That's when they sent the cards back to me WITHOUT FINDING/TRACING THE GRADING HISTORY. NOT EVEN AN EXPLANATION -->NO NOTE or EMAIL. PSA played blind. I called customer service and was promised someone will call me back ---> NO ONE FROM PSA CALLED!!! Never got compensated for the damage card.

Returned a card to remove debris. took 2 trips to PSA before finally removing the debris (have to use sharpie and stick pads to point out that obvious debris in there). When they took it out it left a dent mark on my card. No compensation.

They are even sloppy on labelling. I returned mislabelled cards. NO compensation.

I wasted so much money on shipping just to return the cards for their sloppy work.

    Good for you.
  • I never understood what is the deal with having to pay shipping when they make the mistake, that doesn't make sense and is poor customer service.

snowball, you better find a new grading company. I here gai and sgc are accepting applications. sounds like psa doesn't like you. if you are going to come here and rant and rave that all your experiences with psa are horrible then show us some back up, before and after pictures something. any annonymous poster can cry bloody murder when they don't need to back up their statements

I don't submit for grading anymore.

From my experience, the fine print is 10 business days from receipt.
They may have received your cards, but not logged them in yet.
You can call cust service with your tracking# and they will tell you if they have them. One they get logged in, they move through pretty fast.

    SpongeBob - you have Squarepants.

I have do have a ditto on Snowballs' comments about a dent. Looks like a tong mark from pulling the card out of the cardholder. Also have gotten back what looks like a thumbnail scratch. This was on my first round of submissions, so I can't "proove it", but I looked at these cards for an hour and know this was not there before I sent them in.

I don't even know how to go about "prooving" what your card looked like when you sent it in. Scanning a copy is always subject to technology. Anyone know??

  • It is a 10 day turnaround folks...except it is PSA that decided when that 10 days begins...and they determine that by when they "log" your product in...meaning that they could have received you items on Monday...but you didn't go into their system until Thursday...so the 10 days begins on Thursday...call them and they will verify that...

I know...I live near PSA...so I hand delivered my cards on a Saturday...for a 10 day turnaround...when 10 days passed I called..."hey want's up"...it seems even though I delivered them on Saturday (and one would expect them to be checked in on Monday)...they did not go into the system until Thursday of that week...and sure enough 10 "working" days after the Thursday they were done...

They might as well as call it 14 day or 15 day turnaround...it's not 10 days they way I calculate it...why should it take 4 days to check something in...hire more people...or get a better system...or just tell us that it's not "really" 10 days...

    Snowball,

I remember your problems from a previous thread. That is bad customer service on PSA's part, no doubt. If they do not make good on their minor mistakes, then what will they do when one of their holders contains a counterfeit card that leaked through the system?

Try contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. They will arbitrate issues between you and PSA.

    I can't agree more.

I guess it's hard to find people in the Newport Beach area with data entry skills and the ability to open up boxes.

99% of the submitter's already know this. Its no big deal. Now that you know the rules you can stop whinning.

You should all be happy to know that PSA is back on track. I made a submission last week and it was logged in almost immediately. This would suggest that PSA will be meeting their turnaround times. If there was a delay it probably does not exist any longer.
