Here's a coin you don't see every day

It's a 1860 toothed border ha'penny, obverse 2 (7 berries) with pointed lighthouse reverse. Although this is the most common of the varieties, it is still a very scarce coin and is quite rare this nice.

    In case anyone hasn't spotted it, look at Britannia's hand at the trident and work down - you see the ghostilike profile of Victoria. Also the back of her head on the left side. VERY clear - just like the coin was minted yesterday.

    An exceptional piece. I have four variants (all UNC/lustre) in my collection and not one is within a mile of this.
