Does anyone here have registry sets of modern (21st century) cards?

I'm waiting on a few huge shipments of 2002 Bowman Chrome DP cards to put me in first place in terms of the set registry. A lot of you are collecting vintage, which is definitely cool, but I see very little new registry stuff. I am on the board for my Mike Schmidt set (weighed heavily by my PSA 7s in the 73 OPC and 72 Puerto Rican card)....

Would love to get some trades going!

I almost started a 2002 BDP set last year, but the prices for rookies were too volatile to really get into it, and I didn't care to take the chance on submitting my own since I think for that set only 10s will do. I do have a 2001 UD Golf set going, though, and I can see myself 20 years from now working on a 2001 Topps Heritage set, so if you get any 10s from there I'll take them.

    WANTED:
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25
2004 UD Legends Bake McBride autos & parallels, and 1974 Topps #601 PSA 9
Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs

    Nothing on ebay

As I suspected, almost nothing but vintage collectors here.

    I"ll still lurk.

    Hi

Just thought I would say Hi I collect Modern. From 1983 to 2003 so far I have them all graded (Boggs).

  • I'm working on the 2000 and 2001 SP Authentic football sets. I also will be requesting the 2002 and 2003 sets.
I also have player runs that I don't have listed on the Set Registry. Many of those cards are star football and baseball and many of them are in SGC holders. There are some of us that collect modewrn graded, but we are a minorityimage

I collect both as well, but my modern graded is mostly rookie cards, and not sets. It seems very expensive to do a graded modern set, when if the card isn't a 10, it is worthless. I would love to go for a graded Topps Chrome basketball refractor set, if I had the cash...
