  • Go to the link below for a database of Greek coins. It looks like a Shekel of Tyre to me but I'm not certain. Also, it definately looks like a counterfeit to me.

  • Shekel's of Tyre are one of the more counterfeited ancients because they are believed to be the same coins as the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas for the betrayal of Jesus. Your looks like a plated cast counterfeit to me. Mushy details and raised bumps are telltale signs of casting.
