Question about Heritage's work hours

Does anyone know if they do any work on Saturdays? And what is the earliest time I could get somebody on Monday? I bought a coin out of their inventory and it is still showing as available, and I really want this coin.

  • Eric, I wouldn't worry about it.... Not unless someone else already ordered that coin ahead of you. I remember ordering a coin about 3 years ago, and after I ordered it, it still showed as being available, so I ordered it again. Then on Monday, I got a cancellation notice, which confused me quite a bit, but it turned out alright. Heritage received both orders and cancelled one. My experience tells me that their database isn't updated instantaneously by web orders, but had to be done manually by the person processing the order. Since that's what it looks like now, I assume that they never fixed/changed the ordering process.

Make sure you log out of their system. Go back and check and I think you will see it is gone. For some reason when you are logged in the coin shows up, and when you log out it disappears (at least it has worked that way for me).

Well it's gone now, I'm relieved. What do y'all think about this one?

Heritage has a lot of coins if you are on a tight budget, especially with their internet only auctions. I remember one time having an auction invoice for 12 coins that totaled $277.
