BENCH MASTER SET
here is example of some of the pics, 68-venezuelan topps rookie card, 71-topps greatest moments, 73-topps candy lid, 74-topps deckle edge psa-10
and seldom, if ever seen, 1977 venezuelan baseball league sticker #154 etc....
scott is topps, and steve wolfe is putting together a top notch set himself (just took over #1 on bench basic set)
thanks to all, (jeffvn) for help w/pics, russ romberger for that sweet 71-greatest moments psa-7 card, and the guy that sold me the raw 74-deckle edge
on ebay for $48.00 (see pic) god bless you all, your friend, lee spies

    That's great stuff Lee! And pretty hard to get too - congrats! Like Hertz, we #2's try harder!! I suspect there will be some jockeying around for #2, and for now, hat's off!!

    thanks steve, congrats on the 81-topps #600 psa-9, tough tough card !! i wanted that card, then russ emailed me about the 71-greatest moments card
    he had just completed a deal for an 8 in that same card, and offered me the 7 . after we came to terms ($$$) I had to stop on the 81.
    believe me, i had to cash in some nickles to grab the 71 !!! your right, it`s going to be a bench war !! thanks, lee

    thanks rob, i had many of these cards, just did not have them graded. scotts out there, he recently out bid me on a 83-opc psa-10 (johnny bench)
    let me say right now, scott has some super collections out there, bench included !! my set does seem to include more of the unusual or hard to find bench cards (with all respect to my fellow bench collectors) the bench registry is getting larger also. rob, which card was your favorite ??

    steve, you didnt let me bask in the limelight too long did you !!! very sweet. now if you don`t mind, heres my view on it. i`ll just buy a few of the bench playing card sets i see on ebay about once a week and get a slew of them graded and submit them. on the other hand, all you will have to do is wait for
    the odd chance that a 68- venezualan topps, 71-topps greatest moments, 74 deckle edge, comes along >> ouch that hurt << I like my odds on returning
