Undoubtedly the coin has obvious rub on the highpoints, esp the high point of the knee/leg area, the luster is broken through the fields and appears only full in the legend and recessed drapery areas. Quite a few ticks in the fields, esp the reverse. Technically this is an AU58 just like that MS62 (AU58) Koshkarian 1837 dime we talked about that brought MS64 money due to color. The rub on this coin is far less than was on the Koshkarian MS62 dime for whatever that matters in "market" grading.
Actual grade? Anything from AU58 to MS64. What did PCGS or NGC assign to this........
I'll SWAG the AU58 because the luster just doesn't seem to cut it overall.

I also say MS63.
MS62 sounds good.
MS64

So I'd probably market grade it as a 62.
I have a beauty just like it in an NGC 64 holder.
Now I'll go check the link and see what a fool I've made of myself.
