the population of these are pretty high when compared to other commemoratives, but so is the price. Is the demand for these unusually high as well?

    The C&C sets have been fairly stable at $100 - $110 range for the past 2 years. They sold as high as $150-170 on average on eBay as "pre-issue" auction lots.

    The Buffallo Commem is probably the only modern commem with a high mintage that sells for almost three times issue price. Everybody loves the design, that is why the demand & prices are so high.
