Windfall profits suggestions...

I just sold a couple of coins that had had been on consignment for a long time. Now I've got about $600-$700 to play with. Keep in mind that I'm primarily a US collector.
I'm thinking about one or two US coins, to be determined later.
My other thought is that since I have sold off several gold bullion coins over the past couple months to buy some coins I wanted, I should replace these as either bullion, or with several gold sovereigns, which are more interesting than another 50 pesos or whatever.
What would you do?

the last several decades. These are sometimes legitimate coins but tend to all be
held in disdain by most collectors. Even some of the NCLT issues can have important
subjects and be of interest to a large number of collectors. While few are still avail-
able for melt value there are still lots of great world gold coins that can be bought
for small premiums. These would make an excellent choice for a long term hold and
will not severely limit profit potential for even short term holds.
