How quickly things change

I had to shake my head in disbelief earlier today. I'm trying to complete the 75 set , last fall I believed I picked up a very key card #647 Claudell Washington for a very resonable $55 off my buddy Vargha along with a few other cards. Believe me when I say that is the most I've ever spent on a card( I've had my cards since my youth inc. the great selection of 1973 HOF'ers 8's + 9's currently on e-bay seller ID liabpr) the other 2 examples of this card that I had seen went for quite a bit more than that on e-bay. After work today I checked the 75's to see if any of the few cards I need were on there . Lo and behold there's a #647 C. Washington with a $5 opening bid and a $9 buy it now. I pulled the trigger!!!! now I haven't been paying much attention till lately. Is this card now just another common in the 75 set? P.S. I got a #647 PSA - 8 for $55 and I'll pay the ins. S/H

With the recent $5 grading special, don't be surprised if that $9 look pretty steep in a couple months... I imagine that many more 75s will flood the bay over the spring.
