    A few months back I got a 1948 Dutch 10-cent piece in my change, though I don't know where from. That was weird, since the Dutch "dime" is far too small to resemble any United States coin in circulation. (Unless we still used half dimes or three-cent silvers).

  • Looks like a VG/F to me. Interesting, the second time I've heard/seen a Dutch 25c in circulation. Dutch nickel coins wear quite well, even lower grade pieces look decent. Must be the designs.

    You do know of course that accepting that coin as legal tender in the US was highly illegal. image

    Didn't you know that it Highly Illegal to do "ANYTHING". There is a law, It's just whether they decide to come get you.image

    If I were Grading this piece ANACS standard it woul be a baggy 50, most luster is there. I think the nice high rim protects the Hair/face area
