Bench Basic Set: 100% & New #1

Just finished my Johnny Bench basic set, and just nudged past Scott to be the new #1. My set has an overall 8.93 GPA, with all cards PSA 9 except the 1971 (PSA 8) and 1983 Donruss (PSA 10). If anyone has a 1971 PSA 9 I'd like to hear from you!

While I have now moved up to the #2 slot on the Bench master set, Scott has nothing to worry about - for a while at least. With all of those required variations on the 1977 Pepsi discs, this is one set that no one will hit 100% for years.

I myself am workin on a Gwynn master set... pre 88 though. WAY too many to try and go for it all, though I didn't take advantage of the recent $5 special (I starting workin on it after it ended, so it's a recent pursuit as far as getting them PSA graded).

Congrats Steve! The 71 Bench is one of the nicer looking cards in the 71 set, and I bet a PSA 9 must look great.

looking good steve, your basic set w/bench is out of my touch. but the master set is going to change to the weight of 10 and the grade of psa-7
as i receive an item from russ romberger, its a 1971 issue also ??????????
