I would also like to see that one in person. Hmmmm. Looks like a paint job whereby they paint the concentric color bands, then wipe off the high points to give it contrast. Then the paint dries and.....viola! But I could be wrong as I am no expert. Maybe we should ask Marty how he does it!

My guess would be that in person the central devices are a muted dark grey, and the actual colors are very dark blue and rust, just a grossly enhanced pic.

That photo/scan has been MASSIVELY played with. Look at the graininess of the untoned areas. I'd love to see what this thing looks like in person (and then shove it up the seller's...oops, did I say that out loud?).

Who would screw with a coin that's gone happily about its business for the last 130 years unmolested? Makes me sick.
