Question about autographed card grading

If it's a card like this:

PSA graded with auto obtained personally

Then it's the $20 route via the AUTOGRAPHED CARD "GRADING AND AUTHENTICATION" : $20 per card
Autographed cards with a declared value under $1,000.
** Autographed cards dated pre-1998 and/or those not directly from manufacturer must be mailed directly to: PSA/DNA, 130 Brookshire Lane, Orwigsburg, PA 17961-9505.

>> Meaning, I ship to a separate address correct?

And if it's already a 'certified autograph' like this:

Pre autographed

Then treat it like a regular card?

Thanks!

  • Yes, I am 99.9% sure you are correct. Any card pre-1998, even if it is a manufacuturer issued autograph must go through the $20/card fee and be sent to PA for authentication. Any manufacturer-issued autograph 1998- can be sent to CA and would only be the $8/card (or less if using a special). This is the way I understand it so if I am wrong, someone please let me know! I am starting to put together a HOF Autograph set and will go through route for the grading.

Yeah, I think you are correct. I have a Johnny Bench auto'd card that I've been wanted to send in. Someday I will.
